This month features Bay Area Artists Harold Day and the Knights, Greg Lamboy and Cas Lucas. This event goes down @ BrainWash Cafe, 1122 Folsom street and runs from 8-11pm. It’s Free but tips are always accepted and appreciated. This is a monthly event held on the last Friday of each month to showcase talent from the Bay Area in a comfortable setting giving Artists a chance to show what they got.

Harold Day and the Knights have played many a large gig from the Top 40 nightclub circuit, the corporate circuit, the original nightclub circuit and are a long-time favorite for New Year's Eve events. Day has performed in concerts on the same bill as the Ohio Players, Confunksion and Run DMC, as well as sharing the stage with many other popular and reputable artists. He has headlined locally with such bands as Finishing Touch, Cold Steel, Brothers Owens, as well as being founder of Whiplash, Attraction, M.O.S. Band, Masterpiece and currently Harold Day and the Knights.

Greg Lamboy is an experienced veteran of stages large and small. The Oakland resident, award winning song writer, and multi-instrumentalist has shared stages with the eclectic likes of Ziggy Marley, Guster, Michael Manring, and Barry "the Fish" Melton. His music is currently being heard on radio stations as close by as KFOG's Acoustic Sunrise and as far away as Costa Rica and the UK. Whether solo, with his acoustic trio or with his full band, all of Greg’s performances are intimate and inspiring.

Cas Lucas is one of SF’s busiest, hardest working guitarist/singer/songwriters in the Bay Area. Playing venues like the Freight and Salvage, Catalyst (Santa Cruz), and House of Blues (LA), Lucas is making his mark on the west coast music scene. His music has been described as “... Paul Simon and Jimi Hendrix thrown in a blender.”... dazzling guitar playing with downright catchy tunes.

After a year of successful “Last Sunday” showcases at BrainWash. “Heavy Hitters Friday” has stepped up the game to another level, bringing in top talent like Ten Mile Tide, Harold Day, Karney, and of course host/featured performer, Cas Lucas.
